I very rarely, if ever, write reviews for people, because my expectations are seldom exceeded, however, that said Andy Scranage from Along the Grain did just that.  In the summer of 2015 my husband and I were left with a severe problem with our reclaimed wood, which was supposed to be fitted and treated by another company.

After a swift phone call to the supplier, we were put in touch with Andy, who was like superman to the rescue and completely overwhelmed us with his speed, skill and efficiency. We are so grateful the amazing job he did in our family room, which incorporates a kitchen, and the overall finished effect is outstanding.

Nothing was too much trouble and he even managed to decipher my very fussy finish request on the wood floor. We love the floor, which has given our room such a beautiful style and I just want to say thank you to him in a very vocal way for the outstanding job he did, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an artisan within his trade and not just a floor layer.
