The Raymond Room

This Georgian pine floor was in a poor condition. Inspecting the timber during the uplift, resulted in much of the flooring being deemed unusable for reinstallation, all salvageable planks were kept for use elsewhere throughout the building. The flooring in this room was replaced with reclaimed Georgian pine throughout to ensure a consistent specie match. A bespoke wood dye stain was applied, finished with a hardwearing high traffic lacquer.

Full restoration works were undertaken at the Grade I listed mansion. The works were extensive and resulted in numerous rooms requiring a complete flooring overhaul. Every room was mapped out with the flooring being reinstated to the exact location.
